We’re always looking for ways to improve our chili dogs— and we’re pretty sure we found a winner! The combination of homemade chili, hot dogs, slaw, and onions can’t be beaten. You’ll need a plate to soak up every last drop of this down-home goodness.
We love chili dogs — good chili, a steamed hot dog, and mustard on a toasted bun. Everyone has their own favorite local spot for these, but few can put together an Honest-to-Dog Chili Dog worthy of memorizing. The key to this recipe is the chili sauce — out of a bottle, it will never taste as good as fresh.
